Swipe left on the message you want to block. Block messages from a specific person or number. Here is how to turn on the filter feature:

Tap The Contact’s Name At The Top Of The Screen, Then Tap It Again To Open Their Contact Card.
From this contact menu, select the next “info” button. Scroll down to filter unknown senders, and switch the button to the right so it turns green. Disable notifications from unknown senders.
Under Allow These Apps To Block Calls And Provide Caller Id, Turn The App On Or Off.
Toggle on filter unknown senders. Scroll down to bottom and choose the option. Open the message and tap report junk underneath it.
Open The Mail App And Open The Last Spam Email You Received.
Next, tap silence unknown callers. Go to settings step 2: This will open a small drop down menu.
