Sign in on your iphone, ipad, or ipod touch. Open the find my app. You see “no location found” under the device’s name.

Sign in with the apple id and password you used to set up your device for find my (or find my iphone). Apple has made a lot of progress in terms of allowing people to find lost iphones. Select me from the options on the bottom of the screen.
If You're Already Signed In To Icloud On The Iphone Paired With Your Apple Watch, You Will.
It appears on the map so you can see where it is. You can see your device’s current or last known location in the find my app. If your airpods or beats product are separated from each other, you see only one location at a time on the map.
