Tap Ringtone When You Enter The “Sounds & Haptics” Interface.
Now, go back to the file explorer, where your ringtone.m4r is present. Choose a new ringtone to hear it. Step 3 tap ringtone or text tone, then choose a new sound.
On The Text Tone Screen That Appears, Scroll Down To The Ringtones Header.
Tap settings > sounds & haptics (on some older devices, tap sounds). Next, click inside the tones list inside itunes and press ctrl+v to paste it. Tap edit on their contact screen.
Go To “Sounds And Vibrations Patterns”, Select The Particular Sound You Would Like To Change.
Scroll down and tap ringtone, then tap on the ringtone you want to hear whenever that contact calls or texts you. Tap the ringtone field (it should say “default” for now). Click the ‘devices’ icon, as shown in the screenshot above.
Click On The Sounds And Haptics Button.

Find And Open Your Settings App.
Once your phone’s window opens, click tones under ‘ on my device.’. Tap the contact you want to set a custom ringtone for. In the sounds and vibration patterns section > tap ringtone.
